Hello, I’m Jeanie Dietrich Hopkins, and welcome. Welcome to A Bridge to Wisdom.

I am:

This of course tells you what I DO, but not who I am.

Many years ago, when I was in the midst of an overwhelming personal crisis, I reached out to God. On my knees in absolute humility and desperation, I asked him to show me why this was happening, and to relieve my suffering. I asked him to show me a way out. At that very moment, I was transported. I don’t know if this was a revelation, an out of body experience, or just a profound, spiritual awakening, but I saw my life from beginning to end, and all the relationships and situations that I had gone through, including the one causing my current suffering, and it all made PERFECT SENSE! I saw how and why it happened, and how I learned from it, how all these relationships and situations were perfect no matter how they played out. And when I was brought back to my body, and to present time, I got up and walked to the other room. I felt like a different person. When I looked in the mirror, what I saw looking back at me, was absolute unconditional love with a capital L, and I knew in that moment that all I wanted was to serve God and love my fellowman. This feeling went on for several weeks, before it settled down and I realized I couldn’t sustain it forever in that particular frequency. For it was not of me, but a gift from God. This experience, led me to many years of spiritual study, in which I have grown and changed, and learned the importance of letting go of fear and embracing love. This experience led me on a spiritual journey, sometimes smooth, sometimes rocky, but always helpful.

I am now in my 70s, and realize that over the years I have gained nuggets of wisdom that are worth sharing with others. I see the elders in our society, often discounted, ignored, even devalued. We aren’t seen as creative and inspiring, or as having passion and purpose. But I know that within each and every one of us there are those often-forgotten nuggets of wisdom that we have gained through the years. Wisdom we can offer our children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors. My mission is to help others connect to their own inner wisdom and let that be a bridge to deeper wisdom. The wisdom of the divine. A Bridge to Wisdom.
